Stuffed Parathas


  • 100gms plain flour
  • 100 gms wheat flour
  • 50 ml milk
  • ¼ cup yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • 20 gms ghee or butter


  • 150 gms potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 4-5 green chillies, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh coriander, chopped
  • Salt to taste


Sift the wheat flour and plain flour together. Add yogurt, milk and little water. Knead well to a stiff dough and divide in equal portions and shape in small balls. Mix thoroughly all ingredients for stuffint. Roll dough as in case of Indian Bread and stuff with little potato-vegetable mixture. Work each piece in a ball and roll out to thin circles. Bake on a greased griddle until light brown on both sides. Serve Hot.
Variations: Different stuffing bring in the variation in Parathas. Parathas can also be prepared without any stuffing.
